Booking is simple: you pay 20% of the stay amount as a booking fee to reserve your accommodation (unless special conditions are noted on the listing). The rest is paid directly to the owner on arrival.

You can cancel your booking for free:

• up to 7 days before arrival in low season (June 1 to October 31)
• up to 14 days before in high season (November 1 to May 31)

You have 24 hours to change your mind. Any booking can be canceled within 24 hours of paying the booking fee, with a full refund of that fee. The deadline starts from the time of payment. This applies regardless of the season or arrival date, including last-minute bookings. It doesn't apply when the booking is made less than 48 hours before arrival: the owner then immediately begins preparing the property.

Unlike traditional platforms, you don't commit your entire budget upfront.

The balance is paid directly to the owner, according to their terms:

• cash (the most common)
• bank transfer
• sometimes card payment

Yes. The tourism promotion tax comes to 1,000 CFA per person per night. It's collected by the owner or property, who passes it on to the government — we don't receive it and can't include it in our rates.
