Five family apartments, rented whole

Résidence Zamzam doesn't rent rooms: it rents whole apartments. The three F3s have two bedrooms and sleep four; the two F4s have three bedrooms and sleep six. All have air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom, an equipped kitchen and a balcony.

The residence is rented on an accommodation-only basis; breakfast is available at extra cost for those who don't want to cook in the morning. The building has an elevator, a 24/7 front desk, a security guard and free private parking. The residence arranges the shuttle from the airport.

Check-in is from 4 p.m., check-out at 11 a.m.; late check-out can be negotiated with the residence. There's a three-night minimum stay. Children are welcome, but there are no cribs or extra beds: best to count the beds before booking. The residence is non-smoking and does not accept pets.

It suits families who want a real apartment rather than two hotel rooms, the Senegalese diaspora back for the holidays or a ceremony, work assignments of several days in Dakar, and long stays: a kitchen, balcony and parking make all the difference after a week.

Where Résidence Zamzam is located

The residence is in Liberté 6 Extension, rue LIB 87, a residential neighborhood in north-central Dakar.

Yoff, its beach and its fishing village are about ten minutes away. Ouakam and the African Renaissance Monument are fifteen minutes away, Les Almadies and its offices 15 to 20 minutes. The Plateau is 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. To the east, Diamniadio is about 40 minutes via the toll highway, and Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) 45 minutes to an hour.
