Sarahma Lodge is a seven-hut campement (eco-lodge) in Simal, in the municipality of Fimela, on a bolong (tidal creek) of the Sine Saloum delta, about three hours from Dakar. Seven fan-cooled huts, each with its own courtyard

Sarahma Lodge is a single-story campement of seven huts, for twenty people in total. What mainly sets them apart is what they look out on: two face the pool, three the lagoon and the mangrove, two the courtyard. Each hut has its own shower room and toilet, and its own small private courtyard.

The huts have fans, not air conditioning; there is no TV, but Wi-Fi is free, right into the huts. Around them: a pool, a garden, a reception open 24/7, free parking, a security guard, and daily housekeeping.

The lodge offers three options: room only; a night with continental breakfast, served from 8:00 to 10:30; or half board, which adds one meal to breakfast, lunch or dinner as you prefer. The cooking is local, there is a bar, and meals are served on the traditional terrace facing the mangrove. An extra bed can be added on request, for an additional charge.

Check-in is from 14:00 until 22:00, check-out at 11:00; late check-out is granted when the delay is beyond your control. Guests must be 18 or over to check in. Children and pets are welcome, parties are allowed, and smoking is permitted outdoors, not in the huts. On request, the lodge arranges airport transfers, 24/7 with 48 hours' notice, and several outings from the campement: pirogue, horse-drawn cart (calèche), fishing, tricycle and quad bike.
