Two of the house's five rooms sleep three: the right choice for a couple with a child or three friends traveling together. Private bathroom, views over the river and the mangroves; no air conditioning, no television and no private terrace. You do not come to Mar Lodj to stay in your room.

Breakfast is included for all three. The bar-restaurant on stilts serves local and international food, vegetarian options included, and room service is available. Children and pets are welcome, swimming is in the bolong, and the house can arrange a guide and pirogue trips.

Around. Mar Lodj is an island in the Sine Saloum Delta with no road link: you reach it by pirogue from Ndangane. Fimela is on the mainland, Palmarin and Joal-Fadiouth within a day trip. From Dakar, allow about three hours' drive to Ndangane.
